CECM EDUCATION WILYJUSTUS LOPEYOK HELD FAMILIARISATION MEETING WITH THE DEPARTMENT OF VOCATIONAL TRAINING CENTERS.

CECM for the ministry of education, sports and social protection Wiljustus Elimi Lopeyok Akwalata chaired familiarization meeting with department of vocational training in Lodwar this morning, to deliberate on key operational matters.
The meeting held at LOYOPO highlighted the implementation of the governor's fifth and nineth point development agenda as key for sustainable growth.

CECM Akwalata reaffirmed the need for the department to foster collaborative approach in order to achieve count's development goals, by adopting innovative solutions to address emerging issues, adding that county residents deserve efficient and impactful service delivery through embracing team spirit.
The CECM emphasized the need to have graduation ceremonies across the eight vocational training centres across the county so that the public know that our students have qualified to positively impact their knowledge to the communities.

Chief officer for sports and vocational training centers Leah Losiru on the other hand echoed the sentiments by the CECM adding that the speed by which the CECM is approaching challenges faced by the ministry is very much encouraging hence the need to give him full support.

Chief Leah equally reaffirmed her commitment in collaboration with with the rest of staff to redeem the ministry's image so that we deliver services that are visible to the public.

The CECM and the chief officer promised to look into the bursary allocation to VTC students so that amicable solution may be found.

Director for vocational training Stephen Eregae and his deputy Jeremiah Loyapat gave overview of the department and plans a head.

In attendance were the accountants, administration officers among others.
