Happy New Year! As we begin 2025, I take this opportunity to congratulate each one of you for the exemplary discipline and commitment you displayed during the December holidays. Your dedication to maintaining good conduct during this festive period reflects the values that make our association and our community proud.
A special thank you goes to the greater Turkana South professionals who have continually supported the educational activities of our students, from the ward level to the constituency level. Your unwavering commitment, which has been instrumental in the progress of our students, deserves our deepest appreciation. We are particularly grateful for the tireless efforts of the TUSCUSA Cabinet, who have worked closely with the sub-county level associations, including Aroo Sub-County (Kasa, Akwas, and Kawasa), and Turkana South Sub-County (Losa, Kalasa, and Locusa). Together, we are building a stronger and more united Turkana South.
As we enter this new year, I want to remind all students to seize the opportunity to apply for the NG_CDF Bursary before the deadline of **9th January 2025**. This is an essential resource that can help ease the financial burden of your studies, and I strongly encourage all students to complete the application in time.

To all students who will be resuming their studies on Monday, I wish you the very best as you continue your academic journeys. Let us start the year with renewed focus, determination, and a commitment to excellence. May the year ahead bring you closer to achieving your dreams, and may you continue to represent TUSCUSA with pride and diligence.

Together, we rise. Together, we achieve.

Turkana County is set to receive a significant boost with a Kshs 30 million investment from the International Labour Organization (ILO) aimed at addressing the challenges posed by Prosopis Juliflora, an invasive species, while promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability.
