WHERE IS RONNY ? CNN JOURNALIST LARRY MADOWO RAISES CONCERN OVER INCREASE ABDUCTIONS IN KENYA

The mysterious disappearance of Ronny Kiplangat, brother of renowned cartoonist Gideon Kibet, has raised serious concerns and questions about the ongoing abductions in Kenya. Kiplangat vanished on December 21, 2024, after attending a church service, and his whereabouts remain unknown.
Ronny Kiplangat, a devout churchgoer, disappeared after serving in church on December 21. His brother, Gideon Kibet, known for his satirical cartoons critiquing the government, has also been reported missing. Despite not being a government critic himself, Kiplangat's connection to Kibet has led to speculation about the motives behind his abduction.
Seven days ago, President William Ruto vowed to end the abductions that have plagued the nation. Speaking in Homa Bay, Ruto assured the public that measures would be taken to ensure the safety of all citizens. However, the promise remains unfulfilled as Kiplangat and dozens of others are still missing.
The public is demanding answers and accountability. Larry Madowo, reporting for CNN, highlighted the plight of the families affected by these abductions. He questioned the reasons behind Kiplangat's disappearance, asking whether his only "crime" was attending church or being related to a government critic.
The continued disappearances, despite presidential assurances, have left many Kenyans feeling unsafe and unheard. The government faces mounting pressure to address these abductions and bring the perpetrators to justice. As the search for Ronny Kiplangat and others continues, the nation watches closely, hoping for a resolution and the safe return of their loved ones.

Turkana County is set to receive a significant boost with a Kshs 30 million investment from the International Labour Organization (ILO) aimed at addressing the challenges posed by Prosopis Juliflora, an invasive species, while promoting economic growth and environmental sustainability.
